YOUR tasks WILL ENVOLVE:

The prosperous applicant will be responsible for building and motivating a team, that delivers high standards in all operational hotel services, including front office, food and beverages operations, maintenance and housekeeping. The candidate will also be accountable for the planning, organising and directing of all commercial and economical activities.
 
Your tasks will involve:
   »
Planning and organising accommodation, catering and other hotel services;
   »
Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction in all departments;
   »
Representing the hotel as a passionate host to our internal and external guests and business partners;
   »
Developing the strategic direction of the hotel in cooperation with the Corporate Director Europe;
   »
Driving a sales and marketing strategy, liaising closely with the sales and revenue teams;
   »
Responsible for compliance with all budgetary requirements of the hotel;
   »
Regular reporting to the Corporate Director Europe;
   »
Promoting and marketing the hotel as well as the Pestana Group in the local area;
   »
Recruiting, training and monitoring staff;
   »
Supervising maintenance, supplies, renovations and furnishings;
   »
Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations;

JOB CRITERIA

A proven track record within the hospitality sector with at least 4 years of practice as Unit Manager;

   »
Fluency in German and English, written and spoken;
