Account Manager BeNeLux Industrial & Commercial Transportation - TE Connectivity

Technical Account Manager BeNeLux for the Industrial & Commercial Transportation OE and Tier1 customers of TE Connectivity Automotive.


Relationship Management and Demand Creation
   » Continuously caring for a good trusting relationship between the customer and TE
   » Stay in permanent direct contact (visits, email, phone) with the customer to ensure continuing support and communication
   » Promote the technologies and product portfolio at the customer
   » Select and introduce (new) products and services, considering the customers? needs
   » Sell the value propositions of the products and services
   » Coordinate with internal disciplines to serve the customer on time in terms of quotations, quality complaints, logistics, technical information, etc.
   » Engage and drive the internal organization to support and respond in timeframe & quality level that the customer expects (logistics, quality, ?)
   » Strategic Account Planning
   » Analyze the existing customers
   » Define and develop an account strategy/plan
   » Gain, correctly interpret and apply to all kind of research results (markets, competition, technologies, trends)
   » Plan the budget, set up and follow up on business results
   » Present and discuss offers and quotations
   » Prepare and lead price and contract negotiations at customers
   » Follow up on financial matters such as payments, credit concessions and account receivables
   » Internal reporting of projects and other business activities
   » Keep updated with regard to products, technologies, market trends and environmental changes
   » Focus on Belgium and G.D. Luxembourg

Key Qualifications & practices, and Knowledge:

   » Must have minimum a bachelor?s degree in engineering or electronics
   » Engineering background in electro-mechanics/electronics
   » Needs a good knowledge of technical complexes
   » Knowledge of electrical connection techniques is a plus
   » Optimally have a deep and broad knowledge of the TE?s technology and product portfolio and the markets/customers they serve 
   » Minimum three to five years professional level (consultative) Technical Sales practice (in the Automotive sector is a plus)
   » Needs a professional level of business acumen and good commercial knowledge
   » Should have had previous practice in account planning and relationship management
   » Preferable Practical knowledge of, SAP an MS Project
   » Flexibility in working days and travelling
   » Straight forward attitude
   » Good in reporting and administration 
   » Native speaking French, English and Dutch language expertise on business level, German is a plus
   » Car driving licence
